Hi, I'm Jesse Skinner.
I'm a Freelance Svelte Developer.

I'm based out of Barrie near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I've been using Svelte in production since 2019, and building web apps that last since 2001.

I love Svelte and SvelteKit, and they're some of my favourite tools in my toolbelt. I turn to Svelte and SvelteKit for:

building secure admin dashboards
rendering interactive data visualisations
statically generating web sites using dynamic data
fast and lightweight forms that work without JavaScript

Here are a few fun facts about my history with Svelte:

I've built, deployed and maintained multiple web applications for clients using Svelte and SvelteKit
I've been through all the migrations, from Sapper to SvelteKit, from Svelte 3 to Svelte 4 to runes. Svelte and SvelteKit just keep getting better!
In 2018, I watched Rich Harris demo Svelte at JSConf EU in Berlin
In 2019, my love letter "Svelte is the most beautiful framework I've ever seen" hit the front page of Hacker News.
In 2020, I developed a video course called The Joy of Svelte.
In 2021, I spoke at Svelte Fall Summit about "Adding Svelte to your legacy projects".
